Portugal decriminalised in 1983, and then never regulated anything again
Portugal made its decision more than forty years ago and never touched it again. Since 1983 selling sex has not been a crime, buying is not either, and from that point the state simply stopped being present: no register, no licence, no compulsory examination and nothing equivalent to the German card. What remains a crime is living off another person's work, running premises, and any payment to a minor.
The result is the most discreet country in western Europe on this subject. There are no windows, no official district, and almost everything happens behind closed doors and by message. The street survived in very few places - the Conde Redondo in Lisbon is the example everybody knows - and even those are residues of another era.
The detail that changes everything
If running premises is a crime, then a "house" advertising several women at the same address is exactly the arrangement the public prosecutor pursues. It is not a convenience: it is the illegal structure. In Portugal, what the law protects is the independent person - and that is also what makes sense to look for.
What goes wrong here
Little violence and a great deal of other people's photography. Lisbon and Porto are small markets where the same galleries have circulated for years, with numbers that change by the season. A deposit requested by transfer to a stranger is the most reliable warning there is - nobody with a real name needs your money before meeting you.
Checking is not your job
That is exactly why this site exists. Every woman here went through a face and body video review before her profile was public: a person watched it, compared it with her gallery, and refused whatever did not match. You do not have to interrogate anybody, and you should never have to ask a stranger to prove herself in front of you.
Verified here means one thing only, and it is the one that fails most often: a face and body video review, watched by a person, before the profile went live. It is not a health certificate and it does not make the night good, that part is still yours. It removes the failure that starts almost every bad story: the woman at the door having never been the one in the photographs.
